According to this agreement 15 merniers of "Global 2ooo" held a meeting with Prau Marelies Flemming, minister fór environmental protection and family affairs, and Herr Neufel, lead of the chancellor's office. The meeting took piacé in the lanatmann café, opposite the Austrian House of Parliament.

The memhers of the group reminded the officials that as long as the Austrian National Party had been in opposition it had itself opposed Austrian participation in the construction of the hydraulic power-station and called them to account fór the inconsistency. Prau Plemming said that fór thepást three years a survey has been conducted to the effect of barring the grant of financial assistance to the building of the dam.

She promised that a panel of experts would investigate the possible harmful effects of the power-station on the environment, bút preceding such a panel, a week from now, an informál discussion would be held in the ministry with members of "Global 2ooo", representatives of other "Green" organizations and experts.

Next day, the 23rd of June, members of "Global 2ooo" met Alois Mock foreign secretary, chairman of the Austrian National Party and Dr. Marga Hubinek, leader of the National Party's parliamentary section, in the Austrian Parliament's club.
