"Zsolt Keszthelyi Committee" Formed in Budapest

A solidarity group has been formed in Budapest on 7 April 1987 to aid Zsolt Keszthelyi arrested fór rejecting military service. The group issued an announcement on 13 April with the following text:

"The samizdat press made known recently that Zsolt Keszthelyi refused to do military service on grounds of his political con- viction. On 25 February he's been arrested and remained in custody ever since. To aid him and to follow his situation with attention a working group named "Zsolt Keszthelyi Committee" has been formed on 7 April 1987 on the initiative of his friends and the VOX HUMANA Circle. Foundation members are: Mikolta Bognár,

Tibor Holczer, Karoly Kiszely, Jenő Nagy, Tamás Perlaki,

Gáspár Miklós Tamás.

The working group counts on the contribution of every individual and community thinking and acting freely, who regard the legalization of unarmed service as important.

The announcement of the Zsolt Keszthelyi Committee issued yesterday makes known that the date fór the trial of Keszthelyi has been set fór the 27th of April 1987 and that it will take piacé in the Fo' Street building of the Military Court in Budapest.
