proved the estates; it was especially the area of vineyards (Margittá, Siter, Szalárd) that increased significantly.

Members of the male line eventually took back the estates, and started a conscious and very determined estate building under the management of János Ferdényi. The raising of serf’s services and the increase of income from the estates is clearly evidenced in the last decade of the 18th century.
