Sources for the Victims of the IInd World War Kálmán Radies

Since 1989 our settlements are trying to meet a longfelt need by wishing to immortalize the memory of the victims (both civil and military) of the Und World War. As time goes by collection of the list of names becomes more and more difficult therefore short description of written sources can help researches. In this paper we are refering to the primary- to the Archives’ materials and to the District-, County- and National sources. In the notes we report some decrees related to the subject that may serve as footholds for searching archived papers necessarily prepared on these decrees. The list of names of those who died within the territory of Hungary can be compiled from the immatriculation books, the recordings of the cemeteries, the legal declarations that a person is dead and the papers of the State Administration. Those who were fighting abroad, who had fallen into captivity, who were carried off to prison could be found in local administrative papers, in the National Archives, in the National Military Archives or int the Immatriculation Supervisory Archives of the Hungarian Red Cross as well as that of the Budapest Vth District. The material of Archives and human remembrances can complete only together the list of names of the victims of the Und World War.

Прежние недостатки стараются устранить наши поселения с 1989 г. тем, что хотят поставить памятники жертвам (военным и гражданским покойникам) П-ой мировой войны. С течением времени все тяжелее собрать списки фамилий и можно надеяться, что «краткое описание источников» может ускорять поиски. В этой статье мы ссылаемся на первичные источники: на материалы архива данного поселения, на источники комитатского и государственного характера. В записях оглашаем несколько относящихся к данной теме постановлений, которые могут служить исходной точкой к розыску архивных документов, возникших вслед постановлений. Список лиц, погибших на территории Венгрии можно составить по метрическим книгам, учету кладбищ, нотариальных свидетельств о смерти, документам администрации. Воюющие за границей, попавшие в плен, угнанные могут быть подысканные, в первую очередь, по местным административным документам, документации общегосударственных архивов, Военно-Исторического архива, Венгерского Красного Креста, районного отдела записи актов гражданского состояния I-ого района города Будапешт. Документация архивов и человеческая память только совместно смогут дополнить списки жертв мировой войны.
