Anomalomys I separated from the protoconid-mesoconid complex; (6) the mesolophid and (7) the ectomesolophid of ml are present; (8) m2 has a metalophulid. Anomalomys petteri differs from A. rudabanyensis in having (1) larger molars; (2) simplified antero-, meso- and posteroloph fold systems of Ml; (3) lingual mesosinid of ml reduced or absent; (4) antero-, meso- and posteroloph of m2 separated.
