Figure 15 — Occlusal surfaces of Collimys dobosi M 3 molars. — 1 = 2003.180, morphotype Aa; 2 = 2003.164, morphotype Ab; 3 = 2003.167, morphotype Ba; 4 = 2003.177, morphotype Bb; 5 = 2003.188, morphotype Cb; 6 = 2003.186, morphotype Db. Figure 18). The mesolophid does not reach the lingual margin in 3 molars (4%) (S variation in Table 5 and in Figure 18). The ectomesolophid is variabile in length. It is developed in 16 molars (21%) (X variation in Table 5 and in Figure 18). The most frequent morphological configuration is ALo. This consists of the coexistence of the lingual anterolophulid, the mesolophid developed to the lingual margin and the absence of the ectomesolophid m3 molars (Figures 7, 20, 21.) — In the anterior part of the tooth crown the buccal anterolophulid is constantly found, but it is developed in a lower level than the main cusps. In the senile molars this vertical difference disappeares due to wear. The lingual anterolophulid is presented in 26 molars (51%) (A variation in Table 6 and in Figure 20). The length of the lingual anterolophulid is variable but in the majority of the molars it is weekly developed. The mesolophid is well developed and high, and constandy reaches the lingual margin of the tooth crown. It is usually transversal but sometimes diagonally (anterolingually) directed. Ectomesolophid is developed only in 5 molars (10%) (X variation in Table 6 and in Figure 20.) Figure 16 — Schematic morphotypc-system of the Collimys dobosi mi molars and the distribution of the morphotypes. A, B, C, D groups = detailed description is given in the text; 0 = ectomesolophid is not found; 1 = ectomesolophid is developed. The highly developed and long mesolophid reaches the lingual margin of the tooth crown in the majority oi the molars (73 individuals, 96%) (L variation in Table 5 and in Figure 17 — Occlusal surfaces of CoUimys dobosi mi molars. — 1 = 2003.224, morphotype AO; 2 = 2003.220, morphotype AO; 3 = 2003.267, morphotype Al; 4 = 2003.227, morphotype B0; 5 = 2003.213, morphotype Bl; 6 = 2003.211, morphotype CO; 7 = 2003.219, morphotype Dl; 8 = 2003.225, morphotype DO; 9 = 2003.241, morphotype Dl.
