Vörös A. szerk.: Fragmenta Mineralogica Et Palaentologica 17. 1994. (Budapest, 1994)

Description: Lamina 6.0 - 8.3 cm long, 2.3 - 4.0 cm wide, ovate, base decurrent, apex absent, margin entire. Midvein strong, venation camptodromous. Between the secondary veins intersecondaries are running out of the midvein. Dense tertiary venation makes anastomoses between the secondaries. Discussion: Fragments with this type of morphology are undeterminable without cuticles. Their preservation suggests evergreen character. Lauraceae Daphnogene Unger cf. Description: 3.6 - 6.9 cm long, 1.3 - 2.4 cm wide simple leaves. Shape obovate or elongated obovate. Base and apex acute, margin entire, venation camptodromous, suprabasal. Basal veins are strong, they connect to the secondary veins in a loop-like way at the upper third of the lamina. Discussion: Numerous and variable leaves of Daphnogene were found in the locality. Because the cuticle is absent, the specimens were distinguished after the morphological features. cf.
