Internal characters: There were no adequate specimens available for serial sectioning due to the paucity of the material. Remarks: The small size, the small specimen number and the poor preservation render a more precise identification impossible. Moore (1965) classified the superfamily Koninckinacea into the order Spiriferida. I, however, accepted VÖrös's (1984) opinion, who classified this superfamily into the order Strophomenida following Rudwick (1970). In the present material strophomenids were represented by 4 specimens only, reflecting the fact that this order played a subordinate role in the Mesozoic.
