are short and thick. There is a wide, V-shaped septalium. The socket is wide and deep. The teeth are thick and not crenulated, diverging from the dental plates. The median septum runs to the one-fifth of the length. The cross-section of the loop is widening gradually, crescentic in outline, then diminishing before disappearance. Remarks: Zeilleria alpina is similar to the subpentagonal Z. mutabilis, differing by its circular-subcircular outline and smaller curvature of beak.
