Description : Test small, low trochospiral, biconvex, composed of 3 whorls. Equatorial periphery nearly circular, slightly lobate, axial periphery subacute. Chambers on the dorsal side about 12 arranged in 3 whorls. The last whorl composed of 5 chambers, increasing moderatly in size. Wall calcareous perforate, surface smooth. Sutures depressed, strongly curved on the spiral side, nearly radial on the umbilical side. Umbilicus narrow, open. Aperture a low arch, interiomarginal extraumbilical - umbilical, with a lip. Diameter: 0,28 mm Occurrence : This species appears in the uppermost part of the G. uncinata zone and continues to the basal part of G. pseudo menardii zone. It occurs together with G. angulata , thus characterizing the G. angulata / G. pusilla pusilla zone in the Taramsa section. Stratigraphi e range: G. pusilla pusilla was first described by BOLLI (1957) from the Paleocene of the lower Lizard Springs formation in Trinidad, where it characterized the G. pusilla pusilla zone.
