Description : Test medium, low trochosp irai , composed of 2 ^ whorls. Equatorial periphery distinctly lobate, axial periphery rounded. Chambers 12 arranged in 2 -A whorls, the last whorl is composed of 4 chambers increasing rapidly in size. Wall calca­reous finely perforate, surface pitted. Sutures depressed, slightly oblique on the dorsal side,radial on the ventral side. Umbilicus- open. Aperture éxtraumbilical- umbilical. Diameter: 0,4 mm Occurrence : Specimens of this species are found in sample no. 9 in the Taramsa section. Stratigraphie range: This species was described by BRONNIMANN (1952) as Globigerina pseudobulloides from the upper zone of Lizard Springs formation, south Trinidad. BOLLI (1957) figured and described G. prolata from the Globoro­ talia fromosa fromosa and G. aragonensis zones, Lizard Springs formation and Navet formation, Trinidad. Globigerina quadrata WHITE (pl.
