Test small, of three whorls, with four chambers each. Chambers tightly coiled in a Very high trochospire. Test contours in dorsal view quadrangular. Chambers globular, separated from each other by deep sutures. Last chamber usually smaller than the previous one. Umbilicus small, deep, and the apertures of the last two chambers are to be seen in it. Aperture: lowly arched fissure,intraumbilical,with a little rim-like thickening. Test wall finely perforated, punctuated. Occurrence. Common in the Buda Marl; most frequent in the Oligocène horizons. Kenawy reported its presence (1968) in the upper part of the Rupelian at Eger. Some specimens resemble closely the subspecies Globigerina ouachitaensis gnaucki Blow and Banner. Medium-size test of three whorls, with four chambers each. Chambers loosely disposed in a low trochospire; test shape elongated triangle. Chambers inflated, rapidly growing, separated by deep sutures. Suture obliqué on the dorsal surface, slightly arched on the ventral one. Umbilicus large, deep. The apertures of the last 3-4 chambers are visible in the umbilicus. Aperture highly arched, assymmetric, steeper facing the direction of coiling. It is rimmed by a narrow, well
