O. Merkl szerk.: Folia Entomologica Hungarica 69. (Budapest, 2008)

Comparative remarks - Based on the general shape, colour and the absence of wings, the new species is closely related to Rismethus insolitus sp. n. It can be distinguished by the less transverse pronotum which is widest at the middle and by the more elongate elytra. Acknowledgements - I want to thank Dr. P. CATE (Wien) for allowing me to study specimens of his collection and for his revision of the English text. I also thank my friend I. GUDENZI (Forli) for the genitalia drawings.
