REDTENBACHER, 1842 - [Heves m.,] Mátra, [Mátraháza,] Kékestető, 9, IX. 1934, leg. J. FODOR (1, HNHM). Identified by S. A. SLIPINSKI in 1982. - HORION (1960) mentioned it from "Ungarn (Neutraer Komitat)"; this record refers to a locality in Slovakia, thus outside present-day Hungary. Identified by O. MERKL in 2006. - A tropicopolitan species, it is inadvertently introduced regularly into Europe, but not established.
