Biology - Only the asexual generation is known, which induces bud galls only on Quercus infectoria OLIVIER. The first galls appear and develop from early August, mainly on the top of young branches, in terminal and lateral buds on old trees of Q. infectoria. The development of this gall is very fast and by the end of August Figs 70-75.
