detailed description of adults and galls, and diagnosis to A. moreae with some data on its biology and distribution. Material examined - 39 females labelled "Iran, West Azarbaijan Province, Piran Shahr, Q. infectoria, 2003.X., leg. M.R.Zargaran"; 19 females "Iran, Lorestan, Ghelaie, Q. infectoria, 2003.X., leg. M. Tavakoli"; 4 females "Iran, Lorestan, Ghelaie, Q. infectoria, 2003.X. 28., leg. E. Azizkhani"; 1 female "Iran, Kordestan, Mari van, Q. infectoria, 2003. X., leg. M. Tavakoli". The material is deposited in the collection of the Systematic Parasitoid Laboratory, Kőszeg, Hungary. Gall material - Large number of galls were examined from Piran Shahr, West Azerbaijan; Ghelaie, Lorestan and few from Marivan, Kordestan. All were collected by the authors in 2003-2004 on Q. infectoria. Description - Asexual female. 3.8-5.2 mm. Head entirely light brown, compound eyes dark brown, in some specimens silver coloured, ocelli dark brown, tip of mandible dark brown to black; area between gular sulci light brown; antenna uniformly light brown; pronotum, propleuron, mesoscutum, scutellum, mesopleuron, metanotum light brown. Anterior rim of pronotum, scutellar foveae, axillula, metanotal troughs, central propodeal area of propodeum, petiole are all black; legs uniformly brown, except dark brown to black tarsal claws and posterior area of hind coxae. Wing veins distinct, from light to dark brown; metasoma uniformly light brown, except dorsal black spot on metasomal tergite 2; in some specimens a very narrow black stripe present on all tergites dorsally. Head delicately coriaceous, with uniformly dense white setae, 2.5-2.8 times as broad as long from above (if the length is measured across the most lateral part of gena) or 3.1-3.3 times as broad as long if the head length is measured along the dorsal median line, across frontal ocellus, thus the head in dorsal view strongly invaginated along the median line (Fig. 29); 1.5-1.6 times as broad as high and as broad (measured across genae) as mesosoma in frontal view (Fig. 28). Gena minutely coriaceous and strongly broadened behind eye, nearly 2.0 times as broad as cross diameter of eye. Malar space very delicately coriaceous, with very indistinct delicate striae, irradiating from clypeus to compound eye (in some specimens these striae absent), 0.5 times as long as height of eye (Fig. 28). POL 1.5-1.6 times as broad as OOL; OOL nearly 2.0 times as long as diameter of lateral ocellus and nearly 2.0 times as long as LOL (Fig. 29), OOL 0.3 times as long as height of eye in frontal view (Fig. 28). Transfacial distance 1.2-1.4 times as broad as height of eye and 2.0 times as long as height of lower face (distance between antennái rim and ventral margin of clypeus); diameter of antennái torulus 2.25 times as long as distance between them and slightly smaller than the distance between torulus and inner margin of eye; lower face very delicately coriaceous, without striae, the median part from toruli to the base of clypeus elevated. Clypeus rectangular, very delicately coriaceous, with distinct deep anterior tentorial pits, with distinct epistomal sulcus and clypeo-pleurostomal line, ventral margin slightly emarginated (Fig. 28). Vertex and occiput delicately coriaceous. Postocciput around occipital foramen impressed, dull coriaceous; posterior tentorial pits deep, shiny, smooth, elongated; gula nearly as broad as high, lower part narrowed down to hypostomal carina, which is strong, emarginated. Antenna 14-segmented; slightly longer than mesosoma; pedicel long, 1.5-1.6 times as long as broad; Fl the longest flagellomere, 1.2 times as long as F2, 2.5 times as long as pedicel, equal in length to scape; F3 nearly equal to F4; subsequent flagellomeres gradually shorter; Fl 2 3.5 times as long as broad and 1.6-1.7 times as long as Fl 1; the ratio of scape, pedicel and F1-F12 as follows: 1.0:0.4:1.0:0.86:0.68:0.64:0.6:0.43:0.43: 0.4:0.36:0.32:0.32:0.54. Placodeal sensillaon F3-F12, absent on F1-F2, long (Fig. 30). Mesosoma 1.2-1.3 times as long as high; with uniform dense white setae. Pronotum well-visible in dorsal view, delicately coriaceous, with uniformly dense white setae, along the impressed
