MATERIALS AND METHODS All specimens (8 males and 4 females) were collected in the Lake Napkis Nature Reserve (Naplás-tó Természetvédelmi Terület) at the eastern boundary of Budapest. The collecting was car­ried out by sweep-netting on the 11th and 12th of June, 2005. The site, where the individuals were collected is dominated by Molinia-Deschampsia-Festuca pseudovina complex (KECSKÉS & OCSAG 1992). The specimens are deposited in the Hungarian Natural History Museum (Budapest). For further investigation, the abdomens of the male specimens were macerated in a solution of 10% KOH. Forcipata flava VlDANO, 1965 (Figs 1-3) Diagnostic features - Body length (from top of head to tip of fore wings): 3.2-3 A mm (males), 3.4-3.65 mm (females). Fore part of body, also pigmented part of fore wings, light golden yellow. Veins of hind wings hyaline. Vertex evenly rounded (more prominent in females), length approximately equal to half of its breadth. Head wider than pronotum, shorter than pronotum medially. Legs, and ventral side of abdomen light yellow. Abdomen darker dorsally, especially in males. Abdominal sternite VII of females medially triangular, longer than broad. Genital valve of male relatively long, convex at posterior end, medially about as Figs 1-3.
