Etymology - I dedicate this species to Mr. Thawat Tingnga, director of Khao Chong Botaical Garden, Prov. Trang, Thailand, who supported us in studying the insects of Southern Thailand. Heteroconis terminális group 18 species from SE Asia within the examined territory, and 3 other species from the Afrotropic Region. Heteroconis acuticauda sp. n. (Figs 43A-C) Holotype - Female: Vietnam, Thanh Hoa Province, Thuong Xuan, side valley of the river Dang, bamboo thicket, 06. 08. 1999, 1. Gy. Sziráki. Deposited in the Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest. Paratype: 1 female, same data as for holotype. Description - Frons and occiput light brown, genae and the head capsule behind the eyes dark brown. Labial palpi and apical segment of maxillary palpi ochreous, other segments of maxilary palpi rather dark bown. Eyes rather small, black. Antennae 1.0 mm, 18 -segmented. Scape about 3.5 times as long as broad, 2.2 times as long as pedicel, and 3 times as long as the second flagellar segment. Basal flagellar segments somewhat longer than broad, the others about as long as broad. Antennái segments 1-8 and 17-18 white, the others black. Dorsal side and apodemes of the thorax, as well as the trochantin dark brown, the other parts of thorax ochreous, while the abdomen whitish. Length of fore wing 2.2 mm, of hind wing 2.0 mm. Cross-veins Rs-M and M-Cul of fore wing meet M between the thickenings. Radial cross-vein of hind wing meets Rs on its stem. Wing membrane of fore wing brown, except the light costal field, narrow strips behind Rs and along Cu2 and the anal veins, as well as at the cross veins and at the endings of
