gena : diameter of front ocellus = 0.5:5.0. Head without carina and narrowed behind eyes. Lateral furrows of vertex short, do not reach the hind margin of head. Frontal area well defined, U-shaped. Postocellar area subquadrate. Clypeus truncated. Claws with long and strong subapical tooth about as long as the apical (Fig. 16). The last two abdominal tergites divided by a longitudinal furrow. Apex of abdomen with white spot but without membraneous patch. Sawsheath very short, hardly seen from above (Fig. 1). Length: 6.5 mm. Holotype: 1 female, "J. B. Corporal, Sumatra's O. K., Pagar Marbau, 24/7'21". The holotype is deposited in the zoological collection of the Amsterdam University. Neostromboceros marbauensis sp. n. is closely related to N. albofemoratus Rohwer, 1916 but the new species has very short sawsheath, its hind orbits without comer like margin and tergites with white hind margins. Neostromboceros groenandeli sp. n. (Fig. 1) Body black without metallic lustre. Labrum, margins of hind pronotal corners, apices of coxae, trochanters, 9th tergite above, longitudinal spot on 8th tergite and cenchri white. Tibiae white, hind tibiae with black apical third, and the middle with a black apical ring. Hind wings and basal half of fore wings hyaline. Apical half of fore wings clearly infuscate. Venation and stigma brownish black. Whole body smooth and shining without any surface sculpture only clypeus punctured deeply, uniformly and densely. Pubescence whitish, about as long as diameter of the ocellus. Ratios of antennái segments 1 to 9 = 10:9:27:21:19:12:11:9:10. OOL:POL:OCL = 15:10:23. Head without hind carina, contracted behind the eyes. Postocellar area subquadrate, lateral furrows of the vertex reaching hind margin of the head. Frontal area well defined and U-shaped. Clypeus truncated. Length of cenchrus : distance between cenchri = 10:13. Eighth abdominal tergite divided by a longitudinal furrow. Claws with subapical teeth, little longer than apical. Sawsheath stout, subtriangular (like in Fig. 1), sometimes covered by the last abdominal tergite and not seen from above. Length: 8.5 mm. Holotype: female: "Nederlands Indie, W. Jawa, Priangan, 1935-1939, J. M. A. v. Groenandel". Paratype: female: "Nederlands Indie, W. Java, 1600 nft, Djampang Tengah, 26.III. 1940, J. M. A. van Groenandael". Types are deposited in the zoological collection of the Amsterdam University.
