Pristiphora flavopleura sp. n. (Fig. 3) Head black; yellow: clypeus, mandibles, labrum and palpi. Antennae black, apical five segments brown below. Thorax black; yellow: prothorax and tegulae; upper half of mesopleuron ochraceous. Abdomen entirely black above and ochraceous below. Last abdominal tergite ochraceous, sawsheath brown. Wings hyaline, stigma yellow, costa, subcosta and venation brown. Head very densely and moderately roughly punctured, slightly shining without interspaces. OOL:POL:OCL= = 12:12:7. Ratios of the antennái segments = 5:5:25:24:22:19:15:15:16. Genal length : diameter of the front ocellus = 3:4. Length of the 3rd antennái segment : longest axis of eye = 24:29. Head narrowed behind the eyes without hind carina. Frontal field not carinated, raised above the frontal area. Clypeus subtruncate. Mesonotum very densely and finely punctured, nearly matt without interspaces. Mesoscutellum with some horizontal wrinkles, without punctures, shining. Mesoscutellar appendage, mesopleuron and postscutellum smooth and shining. Ratios of the hind tarsal segments = 28:13:11:7:12. Length of inner hind tibial spur : length of hind basitarsus : maximal width of hind tibia = 9:28:9. Length of the sawsheath : length of the hind femur = 47:75. Head and thorax sparsely covered with whitish pubescence about half as long as the diameter of the front ocellus. Inner teeth of claws very minute, hardly visible. Abdominal tergites shining with fine coriaceous surface sculpture. Sawsheath deeply emarginated with long apical hairs (Fig. 3). Length: 4.0-4.2 mm. Length of fore wing: 4.2^1.5 mm. One paratype has brown upper part of the mesopleuron. Holotype: female: Mongolia: "Central aimak, Ulan-Baator, Nucht im Bogdo ul, 1600 m, Exp. Dr. Z. Kaszab, 1966, Nr. 514, 10.VI.1966". Paratypes: 3 females: Mongolia: "Central aimak, Ulan-Baator, Zaisan im Bogdo ul, 1600 m, Exp. Dr. Z. Kaszab, 1966, Nr. 499, 6.VI. 1966". The new species slightly resembles Pristiphora conjugata (Dahlbom, 1835). But P. conjugata (Dahlbom, 1835) is larger, 6.0-7.5 mm, its mesopleuron yellow, abdominal tergites yellow with or without black stripe. The other related species, P. forsiusi Enslin, 1916 is also larger, 5.0-6.0 mm, and its mesopleuron entirely black, never ochraceous.
