Lacourt, 1973 has an extremely long apical spine as it figured in Lacourt, 1973. The upper apical margin of the penial valve of P. ifranensis Lacourt, 1973 with a row of spines while the same part of the new species is smooth. The stem of the penis valve of P. ifranensis Lacourt, 1973 with a basala projection, the same part of the new species is simple. Pristiphora flavomontana sp. n. (Fig. 1) Head and antennae black. Labrum, base of mandibles and palpi dark yellow. Thorax, legs and abdomen ochraceous (orange with light brownish shadow), only the mesosternum black. Wings slightly but clearly infuscate. Costa, stigma and venation dark brown. The wings of the paratype subhyaline. Head moderately shining with very fine, minute and shallow punctures. Head parallel behind the eyes without hind occipital carina. Frontal field sharply carinated. Supraantennal pit deep. Clypeus slightly emarginate. Mesonotum, mesoscutellum and mesopleuron with minute, shallow and moderately dense punctures, shining. First cubital crossvein missing. Head and thorax covered with short, sparse and whitish pubescence about 1/3 time as long as the diameter of the front ocellus. Claws with minute inner teeth. Abdominal tergites with fine surface sculpture, moderately shining. Sawsheath deeply emarginate in dorsal view (Fig. 1). OOL:POL:OCL = 16:19:15. Ratios of the antennái segments = 5:5:30:30:29:27:24:23:26. Ratios of the hind tarsal segments = 30:14:11:6: 16. Length of the hind basitarsus : length of the inner hind tibial spur : maximal width of hind tibia = 5:2:2. Genal length : diameter of the front ocellus = 5:7. Length of the 3rd antennái segment : longest axis of eye = 6:7. Length of the ovipositor : length of hind femur = 55:78. Length: 5.5-6.7 mm. Length of the fore wing: 5.0-5.9 mm. Holotype: female: "Mongolia: Central aimak, Boro gol, 1400 m, 20 km O v. Zuum Chars, Exp. Dr. Z. Kaszab, 1963, Nr. 106, 9.VII.1963". Paratype: female: "Mongolia: Suchebaator aimak, 44 km SSW von Beruun urt, 1050 m, Exp. Dr. Z. Kaszab, 1965, Nr. 349, 2-3.VIII.1965". The coloration of this species is very irregular, although there are some similar species like Pristiphora apricoti Zinovjev, 1993 and Pristiphora chromata Rohwer, 1925. P. chromata Rohwer, 1925 entirely light coloured including its head. P. apricoti Zinovjev, 1993 has pro-, meso- and metapleuron black, legs are also extensively black coloured opposite to the new species which has these parts entirely reddish yellow.
