Papp L. - Only this specimen is present in the HNHM. New to the Hungarian fauna. Chalarus spurius (Fallén, 1816) — 1 male: Szilvásvárad, BNP, Keskem-rét [meadow], 1981. VIII. 24, leg. Papp L.; 1 female: Hármaskút, BNP, 1982. V. 9, Malaise csapda [trap]. - Very common in Hungary; 33 specimens are present in HNHM from Szigliget, Szilvásvárad, Zirc, Komjáti, Tata, Obánya, Nagyhuta, Mátraháza, Magyarkút, Mehádia [Rumania], Oriszentpéter, Agostyán, Lakitelek, Aranyosgadány, Gézaháza and other localities from the Bükk and Mecsek Mountains. Because of the taxonomic uncertainties of the genus before Jervis (1992) it is treated here as new to Hungary, although Aczél (1948: 49) already reported it, but there are no voucher specimens ofthat record. Cephalops carinatus (Verrall, 1901) — 1 female: Szilvásvárad, BNP, Keskem-rét [meadow], 1981. VIII. 24, leg. PappL.; 1 female: Mátraszentlászló, 1977. VIII. 18, leg. Mihályi. - Only these 2 specimens are present in HNHM. The species has only been reported in a table (Kozánek & Belcari 1995: 174); new to Hungary. Cephalops chlorionae (Frey, 1945) — 1 male: Bükkhg, Síkfőkút, 1973. IX. 25, leg. Simon M.; 1 male: Dunafalva, 1997. 06. 28, füháló [swept], leg. Földvári M.; 1 female: Bocsa, 1996. 09. 25, égett borókás nyáras [burned area with Juniperus and Populus], Tálcsapda [pan trap], leg.: Kovács Eva; 1 female: Szeged, Füvészkert [botanic garden], 1997. 09. 12, leg. Földvári M.; 1 female: ibid, 1997. 10. - These 5 specimens are present in HNHM. New to the Hungarian fauna. Cephalops obtusinervis (Zetterstedt, 1844)— 1 male: Síkfőkút, Bükk-hg, erdő [forest], 1973. V 29, leg. Vásárhelyi; 1 male: Mátra-hg. [mountains], Pisztrángos-tó [lake], 1980. VI. 2, leg. Soós; 1 male: Bakonybél, Arborétum [botanical garden], 1974. IV. 29, leg. Tóth S. - Only these 3 specimens are present in HNHM. The species has only been reported in a table (Kozánek & Belcari 1995: 174); new to Hungary. Cephalops perspicuus (De Meijere, 1907) — 1 female: Dunafalva, ártéri erdő [forest in flood area], 1978. VII. 25, leg. Draskovits; 1 female: Hejőbába, 1964. VI. 5, leg. Tóth S. - Only these 2 specimens are present in HNHM. The species has only been reported in a table (Kozánek & Belcari 1995: 174); new to Hungary. Cephalops semifumosus (Kowarz, 1887) — 2 males: Csévharaszt, KNP, 1981. IX. 8, leg. Vály, Bessenyi. - 39 specimens are present in HNHM from Csévharaszt, Lasztonya, Mátranovák, Ujszentmargita, Bocsa, Bugacpuszta, Mátraszentimre, Csornád, Balatonfiired, Oriszentpéter, Egyek, Pécs, Körösmező [Ukraine], Budafok, Aranyosgadány, Magyarkút, Síkfőkút, Dobogókő, Budapest, Tata and other localities from the Bükk and Mátra Mountains. The species was mentioned before only in tables and distribution lists without catching data; new to Hungary. Cephalops signatus (Becker, 1900) — 1 female: BNP Szilvásvárad, Keskem-rét [meadow], 1981. VIII. 24, leg. L. Papp; 1 female: Németbánya, Jágervölgy [valley], 1973.
