Since T. bezzii Edwards was misidentified as T. testacea Ruthe in numerous cases in the past, we think it probable that Thalhammer's two specimens of "testacea' 1 were actu­ally bezzii specimens. At least we proved that thaumaleids live also in the Mecsek Mts (South Hungary), which thought to be a "warmer" low mountain by some people also in Hungary.
