S. Mahunka szerk.: Folia Entomologica Hungarica 60. (Budapest, 1999)

354 species of plants have been recorded in the area. The most diverse plant families represented are the followings: Poaceae, Moraceae, Euphorbiaceae, Lauraceae, Fagaceae and Fabaceae. Besides of many local species, there are some plants which mostly occur in Southern China and areas closer to the equator. There is a road leading into the park and down to the lake cutting through dense, evergreen, moisty tropical forest. I collected butterflies on this road, in the forest close to the road, and by the lake. I use the nomenclature of the books that were partly consulted for identifying the butterflies (D'Abrera 1982, 1985, 1986, Corbet and Pendlebury 1992). Asterisk (*) indicates the most frequent species.
