arrows). Nervulus (cu-a) postfurcal by its own width (Fig. 50, see arrow). Ovipositor sheath long, about as long as hind tibia + tarsus combined. 2d: 2.3-2.5 mm Schizoprymnus monticola (De Saeger) comb n. 4 (1) Second tergite transverse, twice as broad behind as long medially (Fig. 41). Lower margin of clypeus convex (Fig. 38). Males. 5 (6) Carapace somewhat less globose, 1.5 times as long as broad at second suture. Striation of tergites 1-2 with anastomoses. Ground colour of body black, legs rusty brown, d: 2.2 mm T. wittei De Saeger 6 (5) Carapace globose, 1.3 times as long as broad at second suture (Fig. 41). Striation of tergites 1-2 with less anastomoses (Fig. 41). Ground colour of body brown, legs yellow, d: 1.8 mm T. pygmaeus (Szépligeti) Taxonomic remark — 1.) As indicated before, the two species, T. pygmaeus and T. wittei, are very near to each other, their separation in the above key is restricted to a few features of uncertain and doubtful specific value. It seems reasonable to suppose that in the future, having a series and recognizing the females of both forms, the name T. wittei will prove to be a junior synonym of T. pygmaeus. 2.) Eleven new species have been described in the genus Foersteria Szépligeti, 1896 by De Saeger (1948: 229-259) who judged, following Szépligeti's key (1904: 196-197), that this genus differs from Triaspis Haliday, 1835 by the combination of the following features: Foersteria: Carapace in lateral view convex or high (Fig. 92), second tergite longer than third tergite, second suture either present laterally or entirely absent, if second suture present then bent anteriorly. Triaspis: Carapace in lateral view less convex or less high (Fig. 42), second tergite as long as or shorter than third tergite, second suture present and laterally not (or at most somewhat) bent anteriorly. However, the true distinction between the two genera is restricted to two features: Foersteria: Tergites 1-2 not fused, i.e. tergites 1-2 with mobile suture. Hind femur below with an opaque keel. Triaspis: Tergites 1-2 fused, i.e. tergites 1-2 with immobile suture. Hind femur without an opaque keel. The species arranged in the genus Foersteria by De Saeger (I.e.) are indeed the representatives of the genus Schizoprymnus Foerster, 1862. Consequently every species described by him in the genus Foersteria should be transferred in the genus Schizoprymnus, they are as follows: Schizoprymnus apicalis (De Saeger, 1948) comb. n. Schizoprymnus consobrinus (De Saeger, 1948) comb. n. Schizoprymnus crusta (De Saeger, 1948) comb. n. Schizoprymnus erythrocephal a (De Saeger, 1948) comb. n. Schizoprymnus lissostriga (De Saeger, 1948) comb. n. Schizoprymnus monticola (De Saeger, 1948) comb. n. Schizoprymnus nanus (De Saeger, 1948) comb. n. Schizoprymnus remotus (De Saeger, 1948) comb. n.
