4-5 um in diameter; tubular quadrilocular pores short, protruding from derm, associated with wax plates; quadrilocular and simple pores scattered between wax plates elsewhere, abundant within ovisac band. Two simple pores sometimes fused on the abdominal venter. Abdominal spiracles five. Dorsum: Wax plates mostly cover the entire surface. Spines at the margin of wax plate elongate 19 pm long. Hairlike setae present in marginal clusters near posterior edges of marginal wax plates, and near anterolateral and anteromedial edge of each dorsomedial wax plate. Quadrilocular pores in small number between wax plates, tubular ducts short, 2-3 pm long, present in wax plates. Anal ring with rows of pores; longest anal ring seta 64 pm long, longer than length of anal ring; ring round 59 pm in diameter. The species is named after Sándor Körösi Csorna, the famous Hungarian orientalist working in this region. Comments — N. koeroesicsomai is different from all other species having small number of spine-like setae on the apical segment of the antennae, and groups of fused simple pores on the abdominal venter. Newsteadia vasarhelyii sp. n. (Fig- 4) Material examined — Holotype, female, Korea D.P.R. Kumgang-san, 07.09.1989, from moss, Leg. Gy. Szollát, No. 584. Description of adult female — Mounted specimen (Fig. 4): Holotype: adult female 1.2 mm long, 0.8 mm wide. Antennae 7-segemented, 1st segment 96 pm long, 2nd segment 96 pm long, apical segment 176 pm long, with spinelike setae, with 4 setae on apical segment, apical seta 50 prn long, subapical seta absent, subapical sensory seta 24 pm long, medial sensory seta 22 urn long. Venter: Labium 144 pm long. Stylet loop as long as labium. Legs: lst-coxa 96 pm long, trochanter-femur 304, tibia-tarsus 390 pm long, claw 36, claw digitules 13 pm long, 2nd coxa 122 pm long, trochanter-femur 320, tibia-tarsus 407 pm long, claw 36, claw digitules 14 pm long, 3rd coxa 134 pm long, trochanter-femur 346, tibia-tarsus 473 pm long, claw 40, claw digitules 14 pm long, with spine-like setae; with flagellate sensory setae near tibial sensorium; trochanter with 3 sensory pores on each surface. Ovisac band well developed; wax plates bands cover almost the entire thorax and head. Coxal depressions weakly developed, mesad of each coxa, separate, with cluster of hair-like setae, and quadrilocular pores. Anterior thoracic spiracles with some quadrilocular pores on the margin, diameter of anterior thoracic spiracles 30 pm. Hair-like setae, scattered in medial areas of thorax, mostly absent within ovisac band. Quadrilocular pores 6 pm in diarnerei; quadrilocular pores and discoidal pores present in wide bands within ovisac band, and scattered between v/ax plates elsewhere. Abdominal spiracles five. Dorsum: Wax plates only partly cover the surface. Spines at the margin of wax plate elongate 12 pm long. Hair-Hke setae present in marginal clusters near posterior edges of marginal wax plates, and near anterolateral and anteromedial edge of each dorsomedial
