Five species, D. dilatatus Thomson, D. kokujevi Tobias, D. molorchicola Fischer, D. productus Marshall, D. robustus Reinhard) were detected as new to the fauna of Hungary. The following species have been reared from their hosts in Hungary: Diospilus capi­to from Gymnetron tetrum (Fabricius), D. nigricornis from Ceutorhynchus pleurostigma Marsham, D. oleraceus Haliday from C. pallidactylus Marsham, C. pleurostigma Marsham, C. sulcicollis Gyllenhall and Scolytus multistriatus Marsham. Diospilus capito (Nees, 1834) {[!y=Bracon fdator Nees, 1834; [?]=Taphaeus fuscipes Wesmael, 1835) - In Europe a common species. Supposedly B. fdator and T. fuscipes are conspecific with D. capito. - Localities: 7/7: 26 9 + 4 6 from 16 localities. 77/7: 48 9 +11 6 from 26 localities. 11/2: 26 9 + 4 d from 20 localities. 111/1 (Slovakia): 15 9 from 10 localities. 111/2-5: (Transylvania): 11 9 + 2 d from 10 localities. V/l-3: 10 9 from 5 localities. VI/ 1: 9 9 from 6 localities. VI/2: 5 9 + 4 d from 8 localities. Diospilus dilatatus Thomson, 1895 - A very rare species. Described from Sweden, reported from Finland (Hellén 1958: 11) and from Slovakia (Capek & Lukas 1989: 36). New to the fauna of Hungary. - Locality: II/l: 1 9: Várvölgy (Keszthelyi-hegy­ség=Mts). - VI. Diospilus ephippium (Nees, 1834) - In Europe a rather sporadic species. Hitherto not taken in the former USSR (Tobias 1986: 157). - Locality: 1/1: 1 9: Siófok. VI/2: 1 9: Mernye, Szana. - VII-VIII. Diospilus fusciventris Hellén, 1958 (=D. longicauda Tobias, 1986) - Widely distrib­uted in the former USSR and Finland (Belokobylskij 1989: 36). First reported from the Kiskunság National Park in Hungary (Papp 1987: 317). - Localities: I/l: 3 9+ \ d: Csévharaszt. 1 9: Tiszasziget. 1 9: Újszentmargita, nature reserved forest. 7/2: 1 d: Pápa. II/l: 1 d: Csehbánya, Középső Hajag. 1 d: Tihany, Csúcs-hegy (=mount). 1 9: Zirc, Arbo­retum. 11/2: 1 9: Bükkzsérc, Hór-völgy (^valley), Kis-rét (=meadow). 111/4 (Transylvania): id: Hadad (=Hodod). 1 d: Székelyjó (=Secuieu). VI/1: 1 9: Pécs, Misina. VI/2: 1 9: Lasztonya, Borshely, taken with Malaise trap. 1 9: Mernye, Somberek. - V-VI and VIII. Diospilus kokujevi Tobias, 1986 - Described from the European part of Russia (Yaroslav district) (Tobias, 1986: 158). New to the fauna of Hungary. - Locality: 11/2: 1 9: Szin, Szelcepuszta. -VII. Diospilus melanoscelus (Nees, 1834) - Up to now recorded its few localities in Germany, Austria, Ukraine. New to the fauna of Slovakia. - Localities: III/ 1 (Slovakia): 1 9: Magas Tátra, Furkota­völgy (=Vysoké Tatry, Furkota dolina). - IX. Diospilus molorchicola Fischer, 1966 - Described from Austria, widely distributed in the former USSR (Belokobylskij 1989: 36); reported from Bohemia and Slovakia (Capek & Lukas 1989: 36). New to the fauna of Hungary. - Localities: II/l: 1 d: Ba­konycsernye, Kisgyónbánya. 8 9 + 3 ci: Budapest, Csúcs-hegy (=mount). 1 ci: Budapest, Kakukk-hegy, reared from twigs of Staphyleapinnata Linnaeus. 11/2: 2 9 + 2 d: Jósvafő, Szelcevölgy. - IV and VII. Diospilus morosus Reinhard, 1862 - Sporadic to frequent in the western Palaearctic Region. In Hungary a frequent species. First reported from the Kiskunság National Park in Hungary (Papp 1987: 316).
