ROVARTANI KÖZLEMÉNYEK LVIII 1997 p. 57 To the knowledge of Crepidoderoides choi (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae, Alticinae)* B. Gruev To the knowledge of Crepidoderoides choi (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae, Alticinae) - A new locality datum of Crepidoderoides choi Chûjô, 1942 in North Korea is given. The aedeagus of the species is described and illustrated for the first time. Since the original description of Crepidoderoides choi Chûjô, 1942 from Korea no reference has been made to the species. I had the opportunity to study two male specimens labelled: "North Korea: N. Pyongan Prov., Myohyangsan, 22. V. 1985., leg. A. VOJNITS & L. ZOMBORI; Nr. 935." The description gave no illustration of the aedeagus. Since I had the permission to prepare the genital apparatus I made two drawings (Fig. la-lb). The aedeagus is slightly narrowed basally and acuminate apically; the underside is flattened and finely granulated; the profile is moderately curved. The last abdominal sternite is very shortly, triangularly depressed. Acknowledgements - I thank Dr. Ottó Merkl of the Hungarian Natural History Museum (Budapest) for loaning the specimens.
