Named in memory of my late maternal grandmother (avia means grandmother in Latin). Miota kiefferi nom. n. Miota analis (Kieffer, 1910), preoccupied by Ashmead, 1893. A female specimen from Norway: Mosvik, Kilen 14. VIII— 7. IX. 1994 undoubtedly belonging to this species has Al fully 1.5 times as long as A3, making couplet 10 Nixon's (1957) key to female "Leptorhaptus" erroneous. Figs 1-2.
