Variation: Juveniles show incomplete asymmetrical chaetotaxy on the dorsal side of the body. Discussion: Friesea laszloi sp. n. is similar to F. decemoculata Börner, 1903 from Italy and to F. decipiens Stainer, 1958 from Spain, but it is much smaller (about 1/2 the length). The new species has 2 teeth on tenaculum and has no capitate tenent hairs and Friesea decemoculata has 3 tenacular teeth and 5 tenent hairs on each tibiotarsus, and also has some clavate setae on the last abdominal segments. Friesea decipiens is supposed to have furcula type 3 or 4, meaning without mucro (after Massoud 1967) but it was said to be type 2 by Gisin (1960), i.e., with a small mucro. It clearly differs from Friesea laszloi sp. n. in having 3 slightly capitate tenent hairs. We have compared Friesea laszloi sp. n. with some species having 5 pairs of eyes and elaborated a key of identification that is given below. Material: Holotype (female) and 8 paratypes, all on slides, will be deposited in the University of Sopron (Hungary). One paratype will be deposited in the Laboratoire d'Entomologie, Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle, Paris (France), while 2 paratypes in the Laboratoría Ecologia y Sistemática de Microartropódos, UNAM (Mexico). Type locality: Russia: NW Caucasus Mountain, Krasnodarskaja oblast (Majkop district), on the Belaja river, head in Fagus orientális forest with Azalea pontica bushes, at 2500 m elevation, ex soil, 20.
