Designation of the lectotype male of Ch. compress iscapus Szépligeti: Budapest, Sas-hegy, 17 June 1896, in the Budapest Museum, Hym. Typ. No. 556. The specimen is identical with the male of M. contractus. — Localities: 27 females + 20 males from 22 localities — 1/2: 2 females: Pityer— II/l: 20 females + 16 males from 26 localities — II/2: 8 females + 18 males from 20 localities — III/l (Slovakia): 1 female: Borosznó (= Brusno). 2 females: Selmecbánya (= Banská Stiavnica), 600 m — III/2-5 (Transylvania): 11 females + 3 males from 12 localities — V/l: 1 male: Csörötnek, Huszászi-patak — VI/1— 2 and 4: 5 females + 4 males from 9 localities — IV-X, taken most frequently in May-July. Microchelonus elachistae Tobias, 1995 — The recently described species is known from Poland and Hungary, all three male paratypes originate from Hungary albeit Tobias (1995: 44) placed two of them in Georgia (Körtvélyes) and Turkey (Turkeve). — Localities: 1/1: 1 male (paratype): Mártély, Körtvélyes (= "Körtvelies" in Tobias I.e.). 1 male (paratype): Túrkeve (= "Turkeve" in Tobias I.e.) — II/2: 1 male (paratype): Vác (= "Vasz" in Tobias I.e.) — VI-VII and IX. Microchelonus erosus (Herrich-Schaeffer, 1838) [= Chelonus (Chelonella) hungaricus Szépligeti, 1896, nec Microchelonus hungaricus Szépligeti, 1908; Microchelonus frivaldszkyi Shenefelt, 1973] — Recently Szépligeti's and Shenefelt's names, Chelonus (Chelonella) hungaricus and Microchelonus frivaldszkyi, respectively, were placed in synonymy with {Chelonella-*) Microchelonus analipennis (Fahringer, 1934) by Tobias (1995: 48). Since a few years ago I have established the synonymy of the taxon names in question with M. erosus, consequently I extend Tobias' synonymization to M. analipennis (syn. n.) too. This new taxonomic status is based on the examination of the type of Ch. hungaricus compared to the original description of Ch. erosus. Microchelonus erosus is distributed in Hungary, Austria, Romania (Transylvania) and Russia (Sochi). In Hungary a fairly sporadic species. — Localities: 1/1: 2 females: Bátorliget, nature reserved forest. 1 male: Borosjenő (= Ineu, Transylvania). 1 female: Csévharaszt. 1 female + 1 male: Őrbottyán: Őrszentmiklós — II/l: 1 female: Budapest, Zugliget. 1 male: Csákvár, Hajdú-vágás. 1 female: Mindszentkálla, Öreg-hegy. 1 male: Nadap. 1 female: Pilisszentkereszt, Dobogókő. 1 female: Tahitótfalu, Cseresznyés-völgy — II/2: 1 male: Felsőtárkány, Laci-lápa — III/2-4 (Transylvania): 1 female: Hadad (= Hodod). 1 female: Kudu (= Coldau). 1 female: Németbogsán (= Bocça) — IV (Transylvania): 1 male: Drenkova (= Drencova). 1 female (holotype of Ch. hungaricus Szépligeti, 1896): Herkulesfúrdő (= Bäile Herculane), leg.
