tennae. According to the original description the antennae of Macrocera kerteszi are three times longer than the body, while in the Bulgarian specimens they are only two times longer. However, the identity of the male genital apparatus being specific for this species (Figs 1 and 2) gives us enough reason to consider the specimens from Bulgaria as one belonging to Macrocera kerteszi. Material examined: Bulgaria, Belasitsa Mts., mountain hostel "Belasitsa" 720 m, 23. VI. 1992 (5 males); Rhodopi Mts., v. Hrabrino (near Plovdiv), 450 m, 6. VI. 1992 (1 male); Rhodopi Mts., near Asenovgrad, 320 m, 18. VI. 1992 (1 male); West Stara planina Range, v. Barsiya (near Berkovitsa), 650 m, 26. VI. 1984 (1 male).
