ROVARTANI KÖZLEMÉNYEK LVII 1996 pp. 271-275 A new species of the genus Rusina Stephens, 1829 from Turkey (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) S. Simonyi A new species of the genus Rusina Stephens, 1829 from Turkey (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) — A new species of the genus Rusina Stephens, 1829 (Noctuidae, Lepidoptera) from Turkey {R. ferrosqualida sp. n.) is described. With 12 photos. INTRODUCTION In 1993 and 1994 the author collected some strange specimens of a Rusina species in NE Turkey which was originally identified as Rusina ferruginea (Esper, 1785). The comparative study of the genitalia of the Rusina specimens from various places of Europe, West and Central Asia revealed that the material examined contains two distinct species and the specimens originated from Eastern Turkey and the Central Caucasus represent a new species, the second verified member of the genus Rusina. Hacker (1986, 1990) mentioned a Rusina species from Turkey as R. ferruginea. On the other hand, an Indian species is also cited as a Rusina {Rusina docilis (Walker, 1857)) (Poole 1989, in question), which has not been studied by the author. The description of the new species, in comparison with its closest relative, is given in hereunder. SYSTEMATIC PART Rusina ferrosqualida sp. n. (Figs 1-5, 7-10) Holotype: male, NE Turkey, Prov.
