graphic district Eupannonicum (= Great Hungarian Plain, 1/1), elsewhere less frequent. Reared from Etiella zinckenella Treitschke (Lepidoptera, Phycitidae), caterpillar's foodplant Colutaea arborescens (localities Budaörs, VII 1962 and Vác, IX 1974). The specimen (1 male) reported from the Hortobágy National Park (Hungary) under the name Ph. planifions ("flavifrons") (Nees) (Papp 1983: 324) proved to represent Ph. firacta. Under the name Ph. planifirons several quantities of samples have been introduced into the U.S.A. between 1936-1938 for biological control against three moth pests of lima-bean pod (Parker 1951). — Localities: 1/1: 30 females + 37 males from 24 localities — II/l: 5 females + 5 males from 7 localities — 1 1/2: 5 females + 1 male from 3 localities — III/l (Slovakia): 1 female: Pöstyén (= PiesYani) — IV (Transylvania): 1 female: Mehádia (= Mehadia) — V-IX, taken most frequently in May. Phanerotoma (Phanerotoma) ocularis Kohl, 1906 (= Ph. flavitestacea Fischer, 1959) — Van Achterberg (1990: 50) placed the name Ph. flavitestacea in junior synonym with Ph. ocularis. H. Zettel do not accept the synonymization, he has determined the 3 Hungarian females listed below as Ph. flavitestacea. — Localities: 2 females: Budakeszi, Hársbokor-hegy. 1 female: Szeged, ex Etiella zinckenella Treitschke (Lepidoptera, Phycitidae), caterpillar's food-plant Robiniapseudacacia (fructus) — VIII. Phanerotoma (Phanerotoma) puchneriana Zettel, 1992 — The species was described recently from Hungary, besides the type locality it was not find elsewhere so far. — Locality: 1/1: 1 female: Kunpeszér. Phanerotoma (Phanerotoma) rufescens (Latreille, 1809) (= Ph. platypyga Snoflák, 1951; = Ph. rugiferum Wesmael, 1838) — Its localities were reported in the following five countries of Europe: Belgium, France, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Hungary (van Achterberg 1990: 57). Zettel (Wien). — Localities: 1/1: 2 males: Borosjenő (= Ineu, Transylvania). 1 male: Doboz, Szanazug. 1 male: Nagyiván. 1 male (as Ph. dentata in Papp 1983: 324): Egyek, Ohat-Pusztakócsi-mocsarak — 1/2: 1 female: Dunasziget, Cikolasziget. 1 male: Mosonmagyaróvár, Magyaróvár — II/l: 1 female: Bakonybél, Somberekpuszta, taken with light trap. 1 male: Budakeszi. 1 female: Gyenesdiás. 1 female: Hárskút. 1 female: Pilismarót. 1 male: Zsámbék, Felsőörspuszta, ex Cydia (Grapholita) funebrana Treitschke (Lepidoptera, Tortricidae), IX-X 1965, leg. et educ.
