Szőcs. — Localities: 1/1: 26 females + 20 males from 25 localities — II/l: 16 females + 16 males from 17 localities — III/l (Slovakia): 1 male: Borosznó (= Brusno) — II 1/2—4 (Transylvania): 1 female: Bethlen (= Beclean). 4 females: Déva (= Deva). 1 female: Rév (= Vadu Criçului) — V/l: 1 male: Kőszeg — VI/1-2: 4 females + 5 males from 4 localities — IV-IX, taken frequently in May and August. Microchelonus subsulcatus (Herrich-Schaeffer, 1838) — With the help of the key and description given by Herrich-Schaeffer (1838: 154) my specimens (4 females + 4 males) run to this species. The species name Ch. subsulcatus was considered as nomen incertum since Telenga (1941: 305-306). The specimens reported from the Hortobágy National Park (Hungary) under the name M. subsulcatus (Papp 1983: 324) proved to represent another species (sp.?, sp. n.?). —- Localities: 1/1: 1 male: Csömör. 1 female: Őrbottyán: Őrszentmiklós — II/l: 1 male: Budapest, Gellérthegy. 1 female: Budapest, Sváb-hegy — II/2: 1 male: Háromhuta, Nagykirályos. 1 female: Óhuta, Mlaka-rét. 1 female: Vác. 1 male: Vác, Naszály — VI/1: Pécs, Pécsbánya — VI-VII. Microchelonus sulcatus (Jurine, 1807) (= Chelonus rimatus Szépligeti, 1896; = Ch. rimulosus Thomson, 1874) — Frequent in Europe, distributed eastwards as far as Mongolia. In Hungary frequent in the zoogeographical districts Eupannonicum (III) and Pilisicum (II/2). — Localities: III: 20 females + 13 males from 18 localities — II/l: 11 females + 8 males from 12 localities — II/2: 1 male: Mátraszentimre, Galya-tető. 1 female: Szin, Kopolya-tető. 1 male: Vác, Naszály — III/l (Slovakia): 1 male: Pöstyén (= PiesYany) — VI/1-2: 5 females + 7 males from 6 localities — IV-IX, taken frequently in June. Microchelonus tauricus Tobias, 1990 — Described recently from the Crimean Peninsula (Ukraine). New to the fauna of Hungary. — Localities: 1/1: 1 female: Ágasegyháza, nature reserved sand dunes. 1 female: Budapest, Káposztásmegyer, 100 m. 1 female: Őrbottyán: Őrszentmiklós. 1 female: Szigetszentmiklós. 1 female: Tompa, Zsíroskúti-erdő — II/l: 1 female: Budaörs. 1 female: Mindszentkálla, Öreg-hegy — IV-VIII. Microchelonus vescus (Kokoujev, 1899) (= Chelonus minutus Szépligeti, 1908, nec A. Costa, 1884) — Described and known from Hungary, Azerbaidzhan and Kazakhstan so far (Tobias 1993: 100). — Localities: II/l: 1 female: Gyenesdiás. 7 males (1 male lectotype, designated in Shenefelt 1973: 906-907, 6 male paralectotypes, present designation of Chelonus minutus Szépligeti, types in Budapest Museum, Hym. Typ. Nos 549555): Pilismarót, leg. Szépligeti — VI/2: 1 male: Szakonyfalu — VI. Microchelonus vulcaniellae Tobias, 1990 — Described recently from the Crimean Peninsula (Ukraine). New to the fauna of Hungary. — Localities: III: 1 male: Budapest, Békásmegyer — II/l: 1 female (det. Tobias 1990): Budapest, Sas-hegy. 1 male: Pilisszántó, Hosszú-hegy, 2115 hrsz. — V and VII. Phanerotoma Wesmael, 1838 In the Palaearctic Region 39 Phanerotoma species are registered of which twentyseven occur in Europe (van Achterberg 1990, Zettel 1990). The number of the Phanerotoma species is 11 found in Hungary so far and listed subsequently. From among the eleven species three are new to the fauna of Hungary: Ph. capeki, Ph. diversa ssp. picta and Ph. ocularis.
