Microchelonus minutus (A. Costa, 1884) — The taxonomic position of this species was recently re-established (Papp 1988). Known from Italy and Hungary. — Localities: 1/1: 1 male: Horgos (= HorgoS in Serbia: Voivodina). 1 female: Nyíregyháza. Microchelonus mucronatus (Thomson, 1874) — Described from Sweden and known from this country so far. New to the fauna of Hungary. — Localities: 1/1: 1 male: Szabadszállás, Kis-rét — U/2: 1 female + 1 male: Kerecsend, Fácános-berek — V and VII. Microchelonus nigritulus (Dahlbom, 1833), comb. n. — The syntype series of this species was recently examined by me and it proved to represent the genus Microchelonus. Known from Sweden and Finland. New to the fauna of Hungary. — Locality: 1/1: 1 male: Csornád — V. Microchelonus pedator (Dahlbom, 1833) — Its localities were listed from six countries in Europe (Shenefelt 1973: 872), however, authenticated distribution is as follows: Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Bosnia-Hertzegovina, Moldavia. — Locality: III/l (Slovakia): 2 females: Oravská Polhora (= Polhora), leg. A. Podlussány. Microchelonus pellucens (Nees, 1816) (= Chelonus alboannulatus Szépligeti, 1896; = Ch. pulchricornis Szépligeti, 1898; ?=CA. varimaculatus Tobias, 1986) — Widely distributed in Europe. In Hungary common in the zoogeographical district Eupannonicum (1/1), in other districts frequent to sporadic. Quite recently the taxon name Sigalphus-> Microchelonus pellucens (Nees, 1816) was revalidated and placed in senior synonymy with Microchelonus nitens (Reinhard, 1867) and, furthermore, my synonymization of M. alboannulatus (Szépligeti) and M. pulchricornis (Szépligeti) with M. nitens (Papp 1971: 71) was accepted by Tobias (1995: 40). The carapace of the nominate form (M. pellucens) is basally reddish yellow, the carapace of the deviating form is entirely black (ab. nitens). In Hungary the species was reared from two Chamaesphecia species (Lepidoptera, Aegeriidae): Ch. masariformis Ochsenheimer (1 female + 1 male, Budapest: Csepel 15 June 1932, leg. et educ. A. Schmidt) and Ch. stelidiformis HerrichSchaeffer (1 female lectotype + 1 female = "male" paralectotype, Budapest, types in Budapest Museum, Hym. Typ. Nos 484^185). — Localities: 1/1: 35 females + 14 males from 28 localities — 1/2: 2 females from 2 localities — II/l: 10 females from 9 localities — II/2: 1 female + 1 male from 2 localities — III/3-5 (Transylvania): 2 females + 1 male: Nagyenyed (= Aiud). 1 female: Németbogsán (= Boc§a). 1 female + 1 male: Rév, Zichy-barlang környéke (= Vadu Crisului) — V/l: 1 male: Kőszeg, Óház-tető — VI/2: 1 female: Simonfa, Csuksó. 1 female: Keszthely, Diás-sziget. 1 female: Vörs — V-IX, taken frequently in June-August.
