Lepidoptera collected at light, by light traps and sugar baits at a steep, rocky slope with shrubby forests and grassland patches and in a narrow stream valley; 19.10-0.30 h. List of Noctuidae: Sarcopolia illóba, Orthosia odiosa, O. ella, O. incerta, O. cedermarki, O. angustipennis, O. carnipennis, Perigrapha hoenei, Clavipalpula aurariae, Panolis japonica, Xylopolia bellula, Xylena farmosa, Lithophane ustulata, Eupsilia (Orbona) fragariae, Conistra albipuncta, C. grisescens, C. ardescens, C. fletcheri, Athetis cinerascens, Colocasia jezoensis, Scoliopteryx libatrix. Lepidoptera collected by three portable light-traps, 19.15-05.50, in a deep stream valley surrounded by mixed rocky forests on steep slopes. List of Noctuidae: Orthosia odiosa, O. angustipennis, O. paromoea, Perigrapha extincta, P. hoenei, Clavipalpula aurariae, Panolis japonica, Conistra filipjevi, C. grisescens, Athetis cinerascens. List of Noctuidae: Diarsia canescens, Orthosia evanida, O. incerta, O. odiosa, O. carnipennis, Perigrapha hoenei, Panolis japonica, Xylopolia bella, Xylena farmosa, Conistra albipuncta, C. grisescens, Athetis einerescens, Nola confusalis, Nycteola degenerana asiatica, Macdunnoughia crassisigna, Scoliopteryx libatrix.
