Platygaster molsensis sp. n. (Figs 4-7) Female. Head from above (Fig. 4) slightly less than twice as broad as long; vertex reticulate; occiput rounded and transversely reticulate. Head from in front 1.2 times as broad as high; frons finely transversely striated in lower half, almost smooth in upper half Malar space about half the length of an eye; temples about as long as an eye; OOL:POL:LOL = 2:13:6. Head with sparse, short hairs on genae, along inner orbits and on vertex, and with longer hairs around mouthparts. Antenna (Fig. 5) with all segments longer than wide. Flagellar segments almost cylindrical with hairs about half as long as the width of the segments. Thorax slightly narrower than head, about as broad as high. Pronotum at sides finely coriaceous and with sparse hairs. Mesoscutum almost smooth; notauli nearly complete but weak; midlobe of mesoscutum reaching scutellum. Mesoscutum bare except for a few inconspicuous hairs anteriorly and three long hairs at posterior margins of each lateral lobe overreaching scuto-scutellar grooves. Mesopleura smooth. Scutellum (Fig. 6) weakly convex, not above level of mesoscutum, slightly transverse, with a longitudinal keel in posterior half, this keel ends abruptly and forms an almost straight angle with propodeum in lateral view; scutellum laterally with margins and conspicuous whitish hairs. Metapleura and sides of propodeum with long and dense hairs. Propodeal carinae low and strongly diverging, area in between smooth. Legs with no peculiarities. Fore wing about as long as body, clear, 3.2 times as long as wide; marginal cilia about one-fifth the width of wing. Hind wing with two frenal hooks, 6.0 times as long as wide; marginal cilia about half the width of wing. Figs 4-7.
