Zoological Collectings by the Hungarian Natural History Museum in Korea. 130. A Report of the Collecting of the Twentieth Expedition F. Mészáros and L. Zombori Zoological Collectings by the Hungarian Natural History Museum in Korea. 130. A Report of the Collecting of the Twentieth Expedition - A report is given on the zoological collecting trip made by two Hungarian zoologists in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in September, 1994. A list of collecting sites with data and pertaining references is presented. The interstate agreement signed between Hungary and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea gave the opportunity again for two staff members of the Hungarian Natural History Museum (Budapest) to visit the northern part of the Korean Peninsula. Besides our zoological delegation two further groups of Hungarian botanists of five researchers also had the chance to work in North Korea. Our three weeks of collecting was well organized for which we would most sincerely like to thank Messrs. Hong Rong Tae and Sin Hyon Jun. It is also our pleasant duty to express our gratitute to dr. Hwang Song Rin, head of the Entomological Section, for showing us the various collections housed in the Zoological Institute of the Korean Academy of Sciences, specifically the skin collection of small mammals and the sawfly material. Most of our time was spent in fieldwork at the following major localitites: Pyongyang City and its environs, Mt. Myohyang-san and Mt. Kumgang-san, just as it was in 1991. And although, we again planned to spend a few days in Samjiyon and the environs of Mt. Paekdu-san, similarly to 1991, we were not granted this opportunity. This time we followed the earlier adopted inventory system as specified by Mészáros and Zombori (1992). Recent Japanese systematic works clarified the status of Clethrionomys rufocanus and found that it is more justified to use the name of Eothenomys regulus instead. Hereunder we follow suit, and in this paper we adopted the new nomenclature accordingly, though in 1991 we yet used the name of C. rufocanus. The nineteenth expedition to Korea closed its list of localities with the number 1700. LIST OF LOCALITIES No. 1701. Pyongyang City: Pyongyang, 11 September 1994. - Cloudy, windy day with 25°C. Collecting in the room of the Pyongyang Hotel. - Blattodea, Lepidopt.
