S. Mahunka szerk.: Folia Entomologica Hungarica 55. (Budapest, 1994)

midline of scutum and scutellum. Apex of valva blackish. Length M 2.8-3.0, F 2.9-3.2 mm. Comparison. Male genital apparatus very similar to that of S. (s. str.) mikra Dwor., differing by narrower apical part of paramere and penis stem expanded caudad (Fig. 817) that resembles rather S. (s. str.) grandis Dwor. The new species, however, differs from both the others by its colouring pattern, especially dark pattern of apical part of wing. Shamala (Mahmoba) prospecta Dwor. 3 M, 5 F, Sikkim, Rumtek, 1800 m, Souroza nepalensis, 6. III. 1991,1. Dworakowska. Typhlocyba arborea Dwor. 1 M, 3 F, W Sikkim, Pelling, 2000 m, 11. III. 1991,1. Dworakowska. Typhlocyba chandrai Dwor. 3 M, Sikkim, Rumtek, 1700 m, lamp domes, 1990; 1 M, 1 F, Pelling, 2000 m, 11. III. 1991,1. Dworakowska. Typhlocyba dama sp. n. (Figs 822-832) Type material. - Holotype male: Sikkim, Rumtek, 1700 m, lamp domes, 1990, I. Dworakowska (in SMTD). - Paratypes: 3 M, same data as the holotype (in SMTD and NMNH). Head and upper side of thorax whitish to yellowish, with an orange pattern as indicated by transverse striation in Fig. 825). Border of vertex and face ivory, ventrad of the ivory transverse fascia a narrow orange line (in one specimen this orange colour expands ventrad along midline of frontoclypeus). Anteclypeus of male only slightly broadened. Fore wing whitish, with orange pattern as marked by transverse striation in Fig. 827; a patch at proximal end of wax-field ochre-yellow and the one at the distal end, dark brown; the patches dotted in Fig. 827 brownish to brown leaving broad light bordering at veins. Length M 2.5-2.6 mm. Comparison. Male genitalia resemble those of T. simlensis Dwor. especially by presence a row of large teeth at sides of penis stem and shape of lateral basal penis processes (Figs 822, 823). The new species differs from T. simlensis by penis stem parallelsided in posterior view (in T. simlensis it is broadened in the midlength) and by apex of subgenital plate bearing two short lobate extensions (Figs 824, 828, 829) while in T. simlensis apex of subgenital plate terminates on single long tapering process. Other parts of genitalia (Figs 826, 831) as well as basal abdominal apodemes (Fig. 830) as in T. simlensis.
