(Figs 789, 795), the lobe, bearing a few (3 in the only examined specimen) short rigid microsetae, bent mesad. Some sensory pits at dorsal margin of pygofer, especially near attachment of anal tube, and several long feeble microsetae on caudo-ventral part of pygofer. Subgenital plate lamellate, narrowing to a very narrow apex, unpigmented (Fig. 786), sculptured with large scales on its ventral surface (Fig. 793). Setosity consists of one subbasal macroseta, two irregular rows of slender microsetae subapically and a few (3 in the single specimen examined) small rigid microsetae basad of small sclerotized apical extension. Paramere small (Fig. 786); cephalic part short, basal part solid, caudal part feeble, no sensillae detectable at 400x magnification (Fig. 792). Connective (Figs 784, 786) short, biarmate. Penis stem tubular, asymmetrical (Fig. 791), dorsal apodeme narrow, manubrium closely attached to basal part of the stem (?praeatrium) (Fig. 790), semifused to the dorsal side of connective (Fig. 784). Basal abdominal apodemes short and broad, fused to one another basally (Fig. 798). Remark. The new genus does not show affinity to any other genus of the tribe Typhlocybini that are known at present. Ndokia angusta sp. n. (Figs 784-798) Type mateial. - Holotype male: Sikkim, Rumtek, 1700 m, lamp domes, 1990, I. Dworakowska (in SMTD). - Paratype female, same data as the holotype (in SMTD). Body very slim. Anterior margin of vertex acutely produced. Head whitish, broad transverse ivory stripe on the border of vertex and face, the stripe bordered with blackish line on vertex (Fig. 794) and with short transverse blackish dashes on face above bases of antennae by the eyes (Fig. 796). The pattern marked with transverse striation in Fig. 794 yellow to orangeous on vertex, orange in centre of pronotum and yellow elsewhere. Fore wing whitish with beige-yellow patches on clavus and adjacent part of corium, brownish transverse zigzag across m and r cells subapically and a patch at apex of cua in addition to dark brown marks in 1st and 3rd apical cells (Fig. 788). [Colouration of the missing areas unknown]. Length F 2.65 mm [male not measureable]. In male genitalia the most characteristic are the two long asymmetrical apical penis appendages (Figs 790, 791), and feeble, broadly dentate, tapering caudal part of paramere (Fig. 792). Sannella crucifera sp. n. (Figs 799-811) Type material. - Holotype male: Sikkim, Labrang, 1800-2000 m, forest, Alnus nepalensis, 8. III. 1991, I. Dworakowska (in SMTD). - Paratypes: 8 M, 5 F, same data as the holotype; 4 M, 3 F, Gangtok, N H-wy, 1800 m, 3. Ill; 4 M, 9 F, Phodong, 1750 m, 7. Ill; 4 M, 6 F, Geizing, 1700 m, 12. III. 1991,1. Dworakowska; all specimens collected on Alnus nepalensis (in SMTD, NMNH and HNHM). Upper side of head and thorax light beige. A large red cross-shape patch and two large roundish black patches on vertex (Figs 807-809). Four or six black patches on pronotum and brownish-black marks at sides of scutellum (Fig. 809).
