S. Mahunka szerk.: Folia Entomologica Hungarica 55. (Budapest, 1994)
Fore wing sordid brownish basally, brown to dark brown apically, the patch at apex of 3rd apical cell blackish-brown (Fig. 712). Light areas on basal half of wing sordid whitish, on apical half whitish. Wax-field light yellow, veins yellowish, costal margin brownish-ochre, area at wing apex, transversely stripped in Fig. 712, light beige. Length M 3.15-3.20, F 3.15-3.25 mm. Penis stem narrowing, slightly arcuate, bearing short leteral processes at about 1/3 from apex (Figs 707, 711). Anal tube with a short mesal appendage (Fig. 715) situated on a considerable distance from attachment of the anal tube to pygofer (Fig. 708). Paramere slim (Figs 710, 714), its apex regularly arcuate, bearing subapical tooth. Basal abdominal apodemes narrow, exceeding caudal margin of abdominal segment 5 (Fig. 713). Comparison. The new species seems to be quite unique among E. (Stacla), its lateral penis appendages show only superficial similarity to the other species with this structure E. (S). janeki Dwor. and the narrow basal abdominal apodemes so to E. (S.) kama Dwor. Sickle-shaped paramere apex and narrow basal abdominal apodemes resemble rather Eupteryx s. str. however, pygofer narrowing caudad with its cephalo-ventral angle of the lobe expanded laterad and bearing a big group of long rigid setae, anal tube appendage as well as desclerotized apical part of penis, the area surrounding gonopore, indicate clearly that E. sikkimensis sp. n. belongs to the subgenus Stacla. Eurhadina (Singhardina) sikkimensis sp. n. (Figs 716-725) Type material. - Holotype male: W Sikkim, Pelling, 1800 m, Castanopsis, 12. III. 1991, I. Dworakowska (in SMTD). - Paratypes: 1 M, 1 F, same data as the holotype (in SMTD and NMNH). Head and upper side of thorax whitish, two small orange patches at base of vertex, slightly brownish transverse subterminal fascia on pronotum and two almost roundish blackish patches on scutellum (Fig. 718). Fore wing whitish, with light tan-brownish infuscation mostly in apical cells, r and m cells and in basal part of clavus next to claval furrow. Blackish marks at both ends of wax-field, one dash-like on very commissural margin of clavus near the claval angle and another on AP and a dot on RP. Brownish mesal surrounding of wax-field and infuscation at bifurcation of CuA. Length M 3.3 and 3.5, F 3.4 mm. Comparison. Male genitalia resemble very much those of E. (S.) robusta (Mahm.) regarding subgenital plate (Figs 716, 724) and pygofer structure (Figs 720, 722). Penis stem slim, resembling E. (S.) robusta but bearing two pairs of single appendages (Figs 717, 719, 723) while in the other species there are three pairs or, the upper (dorsal) appendage is divided. Paramere (Figs 721, 724) bluntly terminated, its caudal part much longer than in E. (S.) robusta. In E. (S.) sikkimensis there is very characteristic sculpture of minute sharp tubercles along mesal or ventral margin of the caudal part of paramere at its base, the character not illustrated neither mentioned in the original description of E. (S.) robusta.
