Aguriahana hybrida sp. n. (Figs 625-634) Type material: - Holotype male: Sikkim, Rumtek, 1700 m, lamp domes, 1990, I. Dworakowska (in SMTD). - Paratypes: 3 F, Rumtek, 1700 m, 5. Ill; 2 F, Phodong, 1750 m, 7. Ill; 3 F, Labrang, 1800-2000 m, forest, 8. III; 1 F, Pelling, 1850 m, Castanopsis, 12. III. 1991,1. Dworakowska (in SMTD and NMNH). Body form as in A. spinistyla (Ahmed). Vertex golden yellow. Pronotum goldenyellow centrally, slightly orange at sides. Centre of scutum and whole scutellum yellowish-white. Basal triangles beige. Face white. Fore wing sordid whitish to beige, with brownish to blackish-brown pattern (Fig. 631) and white semitransparent areas in apical cells 2-4 (light in Fig. 631). Reddish tint superimposed on the infuscation in basal half and on dark brown to blackish-brown wax-field. In some females the darkening of 1st apical cell is incomplete. Caudal part of mesosternite black, other sternites light as in A. spinistyla. Length M 3.4, F 3.5-3.7 mm. Comparison. A. hybrida sp. n. differs from A. spinistyla (Ahmed) by its darker colouration of fore wing (in female blackish patch in 3rd apical cell is as large as in male) and size and from A. pcdvana (Distant) by darker colouration (brown or golden-brown) and reduction of red component in colouration. The specimens of the type-series are smaller than a few specimens of A. paivana from central Nepal and from Darjeeling but about the same size as the smallest 2 M and 2 F from Meghalaya (Shillong). Ventral side of abdomen of female of the new species is dark, only basal part of valva, cephalic half of sternite 7, centre of sternite 6 and centre of the caudal margin of sternite 5, whitish. Female of A. spinistyla has ventral side of abdomen yellowish, with some indistinct infuscation in caudal half of sternite 7 and on sides of coleostron. Ventral side of abdomen of female of A. paivana is predominantly blackish, with characteristic arrow-like white mark on sternite 7 (with the point directed cephalad) and semilunar light patch in caudal half of sternite 6 and light very caudal margins of other sternites. Hind tibiae dark in their distal 2/3 and thoracic sternites entirely dark. Male genitalia show mixture of exact characters of the two other mentioned species. The sclerotizations on upper lobe of pygofer (Figs 630, 632) bigger and more regular than in A. paivana but smaller and less regular than in A. spinistyla. Caudal part of paramere strongly curved and bearing prominent sensory pits on its meso-ventral margin as in A. spinistyla but subapical process arises in place intermediate between the two species, it is as long as that in A. spinistyla but sinuate as in A. paivana; apical hook of paramere (Figs 629, 633) short as in A. spinistyla but broad as in A. paivana. Penis stem slim in profile (Fig. 626) as in A. paivana and shape and situation of penis processes as in
