Description of the new taxa Hungaromotrichus gen. n. Diagnosis: Family Zetomotrichidae Grandjean, 1934. Rostrum with 4 teeth and a pair of deep incisions, prodorsum laterally also dentate. Normal lamellae absent. Dorsosejugal suture directed forwards, interrupted medially. Humeral projections well developed, with modified c2 setae. 10 pairs of notogastral setae, four pairs (im, ih, ip, ips) of well-observable lyrifissures, humeral sac and one pair glandula present. Pear-shaped organ located behind humeral sac, near to lyrifissure im. Porose area absent, instead numerous macropores present. Lateral hair of chelicera (chb) dilated distally. Pedotecta 2-3 with long spines, like custodium, directed forwards.Discidiumpresent.Epimeral setal formula: 3-1-3-2. Setae 4aabsent. Anogen ital setal formula: 4-1-2-2. Adanal lyrifissures located at the anterior corner of the anal aperture, in paraanal position. All legs normal, leg IV similarly not adapted for jumping. Type species: Hungaromotrichus baloghi sp.n. Remarks: Altogether 9 genera belong (including the new one) to the family Zetomotrichidae Grandjean, 1954*. Their separation is made easy primarily by the presence or absence and the position of the pear-shaped organ, the humeral sac and the lyrifissure im. Further important conventional generic characteristics are the number of genital and adanal hairs, the shape and chaetotaxy of legs, too. In studying the representatives of the respective genera, of course, with ample view to the literature of the genera: Zetomotrichus, Oglasacarus and Mikizetes (Grandjean 1934, 1954, Bernini 1978, Covarrubias 1969) the following Table can be compiled. Table 1 Number of notogastral setae Number of genital setae Number of adanal setae Humeral sac Lyrifissures im Pear shaped organ Rostral apex Type of leg IV Number of selae on tibia I. Balogh and P. Balogh (1984) into two subfamilies: Zetomotrichinae and Rohriinae. This division was not really justified on the basis of the original diagnosis. However, during my recent examination I found a further feature (the entirely missing custodium), which supports the authors' original supposition. ** Its diagnosis was short, and unfortunately only a small partial figure is known. Consequenly, several important features could not be studied.
