Key to subgenus Neoplectes 1 (2) Body large, robust, length 44-50 mm. Costae of secondary intervals (in particular on the exterior part) irregularly interrupted by large foveae. Aedeagus: Fig. 1. ­Central Caucasus martviliensis sp. nov. 2 (1) Body smaller, less than 42 mm. Costae of intervals intact or regularly interrupted (without large foveae). Aedeagus: Figs. 2-3. 3 (8) Pronotum sinuated towards base, lateral margin distinctly cordate. Aedeagus: Fig. 2 (ibericus Fischer) 4 (5) Elytra long oval, tertiary costae weak or slight. - Lesser Caucasus (Mcshetskij Mountains) ibericus chaudoirianus Lapouge 5 (4) Elytra broad oval, tertiary costae normal. 6 (7) Costae strong, arising. - Lesser Caucasus (Trialetskiy Mountains) ibericus lafertei Chaudoir 7 (6) Costae less strong, flat. - Central and East Caucasus ibericus ibericus Fischer 8 (3) Pronotum weakly curved laterally, base as broad as anterior margin.
