Az A. juniperi a nálunk eddig kimutatott másik Aleuropteryx fajtól, az A. loewi Klapalek-tol a hím genitalia alapján könnyen elkülöníthető, ugyanis az A. loewi esetében a penis kaudálisan egy-, az A. juniperi esetében pedig három nyúlványban végződik (1. ábra).
