A. arabica from Saudi-Arabia (Meinander, 1977) and A. cruciata together with Aleuropteryx ressli Rausch, H. Aspöck et Ohm, 1978 from South West Iran ( Rausch et al ., 1978 } also give a homogeneous triplet of species - characteriz­ed by the forked Cu2 in the fore wing and by peculiar lateral appendages of the ninth sternite in the male genitalia - within the rather heterogeneous A . mi- nutana group sensu Meinander (1972 ).
