Hind femur black, light-coloured pattern of legs reddish or yellowish brownish. Among the species of the glomeratus-group with one of the biggest corporal sizes, aé: (2.7-)3-3.4 mm. - Distribution: Reported from England, Ger­many, Switzerland, and Hungary (in the USSR not listed! Mesonotum with weak punctation contrasting to roughened sculpture of notaulix. TOBIAS (1986) considers the names A. kurdjumovi Tel. and A. laverna Nixon as represent­ing two distinct species. - Distribution: England, Germany, Hungary, Bulgaria, Turkey, USSR (Ukraine). Apanteles limbatus Marshall, 1885 (? = kawadai Watanabe, 1934) - Inner spur of hind tibia distinctly longer than half basitarsus. Fifth joint of fore tarsus with a spinule, opposite to spinule joint not emarginated (spinule easily broken, thus, frequently absent). First ter­gite relatively more broadening. Legs reddish yellow. - A female paratype of A. kawadai (housed in the Museum of Budapest) was examined and proved to represent the species A. limbatus. Supposedly the name A. kawadai refers to the species A. limbatus, sen. name. Distribution: Europe and ? Japan. Apanteles lineola (Curtis, 1830) (= gabrielis Gautier et Riel, 1919) - First tergite clearly longer than wide at hind, and here rounded. Metacarp as long as pterostigma. An­tenna shorter than body. Mesonotum shiny, subpunctate. - Distribution: Europe, Turkey; not a frequent species. New to the fauna of Hungary. Apanteles lycophron Nixon, 1974 - Outer side of hind coxa rugose to rugose-punctate. Scutellum punctate, mesonotum with dense and discrete punctation. Hypopygium in lateral view variable in size, small and short to rather large and then somewhat surpassing last mer tasomal tergite. Tegula yellowish brown. Legs reddish yellow, coxae dark. - Distribution: Sporadic in France, Netherlands and Hungary. New to the fauna of Hungary.
