FOLIA ENTOMOLOGICA HUNGARICA ROVARTANI KÖZLEMÉNYEK XLVIII 1987 p. 5-7 Oligotinae and Aleocharinae (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae) from the Bátorliget Nature Conservation Area By L. ÁDÁM (Received December 15, 1986) Abstract: Oligotinae and Aleocharinae (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae) from the Bátorliget Nature Conservation Area. - Two species of Oligotinae and 73 species of Aleocharinae are listed from the territory of the Bátorliget Nature Conservation Area. One new genus, Falagriusa gen. n. is described. Philhygra tibiscina nom. n., a new name is proposed for Atheta (Hygroecia) elongatula subsp. balcanica Brundin, 1943, a junior primary homonym of Atheta (Hummleriella) balcanica Bernhauer, 1936. Myllaena infuscata Kraatz, 1853, Pseudomicrodota jelineki (Krasa, 1914), Philhygra tibiscina nom. n., Ischnopoda conver- gens (Strand, 1958) and I. pusilla (Brundin, 1952) are new to the fauna of Hungary. The Bátorliget Nature Conservation Area (NE Hungary, county Szabolcs-Szatmár) is a small relict territory of moorlands well spread at one time in the Great Hungarian Plain. The first conservation area whose fauna had been thoroughly investigated and the list of collected species was published. The beetles had been elaborated and its localities were published by KASZAB and SZÉKESSY (1953). I have revised the material of Oligotinae and Aleocharinae collected in the Bátorliget Nature Conservation Area deposited in the Hungarian Natural History Museum. In the following I give a list of species determined by me. The more precise locality data (láp [moor], ligeterdo ^gallery forest] etc.) have been omitted as were the time of collectings (V-VII, IX-X.).
