Anogenital region: Ventral plate punctate. Anogenital setal formula: 5-3-2-3. Genital setae strong and well ciliate, setae g 5 longer than anal and adanal setae. Lyrifissures iad short, origi­nating in adanal, setae ad„ and adg also in adanal, adj in postanal position (Fig. 30). Legs: All legs monoaactylous. Tarsi I—II strongly chitinized, short therefore the Insertion of setae originating very near to each other. Tibiae of legs I and II with a spur ventrally, genu of ly II with a strong tubercle (Fig. 33). All femora with a blade-like formation ventrally, which is especially wide on the second legs. Material examined: Holotypus (1191-HO-86): No. 74; 5 paratypes: from the same sample. Holotypus and 3 paratypes (1191-PO-86) deposited in the HNHM, 1 paratypes in: MHNG and 1 para­type in: HNMN. Remarks: The genus Pilobatella was established by BALOGH et MAHUNKA, 1967,|(type P. punctu- lata ) from Dem. Republic of Congo (Brazzaville). Since then the following species were described in this taxon; Pilobatella bérlései Bhattacharya, 1980 - India Pilobatella pseudovermiseta Corpus-Raros, 1979 Pilobatella schauenbergii Mahunka, 1977 Pilobatella xena Mahunka, 1977 Figs 25-26.
